Is it possible to adjust either the drivers door hinges or the striker on the b post as the door on my old terrano seems to have dropped a little over the years.

Cheers

yes the striker is adjustable but make sure you use a good fitting driver they are usually very tight, I use one on a half inch ratchet so I can push hard into the screw, yes they can be that tight! Rick

Cheers Rick, I did try the screws with a correct driver but no chance, you are so right about a ratchet of some sort.

I have drilled out a few, I have half inch drive sockets with posi or phillips 3 cannot remember which one it is, if you do end up drilling out let me know I have spare screws, Rick

Have you thought about using an impact driver? The advantage being that as you are striking the driver to make it turn you are also forcing the bit into the screw.

Is there anyway of adjusting the door hinges as I have a similar problem, I would rather lift the door rather than drop the striker.

the hinge adjustment is limited but worth a try, the alternative is the regular body shop method of closing the door with a bit of wood in the bottom to force the door up, it is how it is done at the factory when new, Rick

If I was hearing that method from anyone else, I'd think they were taking the p!ss.

Think I will just have to put up with it.
