On the short bit of plastic tube that goes from the airfilter to the flexible rubber pipe could/should be a sensor with 4 or 5 or so wires going into it.. that is the MAF.

You can see it on the right of the picture with the wire running towards the front of the car.

As fez says, If its a td with no intercooler, then no it won't

if it has a intercooler , chances are it will have a maf

I just used an old picture I had previously uploaded, as it showed the MAF. When I first joined, I was trying to work out what that bit was for as mine was full of oil.

Don't forget there. are two types of maf.

One Bosch 4 wire and the other Hitachi 3 wire.
