Hi everyone, this was on the drain plug of my rear diff, looks sheared, truck drives fine tho not sure if the LS part of LSD is working, if u get what I mean!

Looks like the head of a rivet.

Yeah it does doesn't it, I'm thinking it could be something to do with friction plates, no noises and drives ok tho!

At first glance I thought it was one of the retaining cups for the pins that hold the brake shoes on in the rear hubs

Whoa yeh, wonder if someone has managed to pick one up with drain magnet by accident, I'm gonna lift rear end today and spin the wheels to see if LSD is working, if it is great, if its not, well, its upgrade time!!!
