So whats been going on while I've been away chicken breeding and taking the turkeys for their daily ride on the t2:lol

you can 2 from morrissons for about £7 cooked and ready to eat thats the best way to keep chickens lol. :lol:lol:lol:lol:lol
 
Seriously I've been looking into getting an allotment nearby and that is my plan:doh

Go for it :D best move we ever made, cost next to nowt to feed or look after, always pleased to see you and like I said..... best damn eggs I ever had :clap
 
Build a damn big run cause the bar stewards will wreck your garden if you let them forage.
We've had our for six months now and i'd recommend keeping them to anyone but if you have a nice garden it wont stay that way.

I keep over 200 all in different pens over 6 acres
The turkeys have taken to riding on the t2 to do the feed run am and pm:lol
the turkey also like a pint:thumbs
Eggs are splendid
So if you want to start keeping them and need some help just ask .

You need a good size garden to keep chickens they will turn it to mud in a short space of time:(
An allotment with a shed would be fine:thumbs
chickens are a great way to chill out just watch the pecking order its life in a pen:thumbs
 
There's only one thing puts me off. I don't know if I could kill one:eek: for the pot or mercy. Guess that makes me a chicken:doh
