Should this be illuminated along with the other dials?
Mine has no illumination and is a pig to read when going along unless you get a brief hint of orange when passing a street light lol

Yes, the bulbs ALWAYS pop, I put a led bulb in and now it's a crisp White :thumb2

This bulb goes regularly because it's on whenever the ignition is on, night or day. Unfortunately the whole dash has to come out to replace it - not difficult but time-consuming.

What bulb is it? Do you know off the top of your head?

It's some time since I did mine, and I can't recall what bulb it was, but I'm sure one of our more clued up members will be along shortly to let you know.
Incidentally, I bought mine as a pack of 10 from eBay for around £2, and were it not for the fact that the 9 remaining ones are in my Terrano in Spain I would have gladly sent you a couple - I doubt (and hope) I will ever need that many!
