Diff breathers

Hi guys,

I have just done a search, which came up with 2 threads.....but dating back to 2014.

Has anyone got any current experience of the diff breather system on 2002 3 ltr LWB models......there are claims that the front diff and gearbox have extended breathers into the engine bay.....that the rear diff is extended but only into the chassis, or not at all with just a mushroom on top.....I have a recollection of mine just having a mushroom....:nenau

So, the questions are....

Has anybody done this mod?
How difficult is it?
Where did you get the parts?

As far as I am aware all T2's have extended breathers as standard transfer box, gear box and front diff terminate just near brake cylinder, rear diff into chassis, but just could be another cost cutting mod by Nissan to cut them, Rick
