We have had a Mr David Henderson get in touch with us regarding giving our members a discount on there “Diesel Power Tuning units”,
This is a device which genuinely improves performance and MPG of a turbo diesel vehicle.

They have 150 installers throughout the UK.

Whilst they are the distributors of the product they would of course state how good it is, but this product has been heavily endorsed by Quentin Willson.
He has units fitted on 2 of his vehicles and has been so impressed he has both written about DPT in his Sunday newspaper column

http://www.dieselpowertuning.co.uk/news/view-news.php?newsid=21

and DPT featured in an ITV Tonight programme called Priced off our Roads, during which he stated "I am over the moon" when he commented upon the increase in his Range Rovers MPG. You can see am excerpt f the TV show using this link

He has been speaking with his Managing Director, who is willing to give our forum users a discount on the Diesel Power Tuning unit. The discount can only be via phone to himself as he cannot set up this facility via the website, also he cannot control the installer charges.

If you think this is of interest to you he can speak to dealers as and when each enquiry is made to arrange a discounted fully fitted price.

The website price is £300.00 and £15.00 P&P, we will do the DPT unit for £300.00 and this is FREE delivery and its for DIY fit.

And your point is 8O

They are not sold only as a fuel saving device.

They are sold as giving extra BHP & Torque , if you can drive sensibly with that you gain some MPG.

The name says it for me

DIESEL PERFORMANCE TUNING

Easy Tiger...My point is..... they have gone up !!! they were £300 now there £380, and if you watch the Quentin Wilson presentation it is defiantly aimed at fuel saving

hmmmm,
I would have been intereasted at £300 but at £380 thats a lot of money.

I know it would pay for itself but that is a big outlay.

Is that with any club discount?

I got mine fitted from one of their distributers that had one in stock so you might still get one at the lower price 8O

ok Quentin Wilson is on about fuel saving.
They programme it to performance, which your told will give you more power and save on fuel. You get asked if you want economy, I never let him explain that one as I didn't want a detune, don't see tha point in the economy mode.

You do get better MPG in performance mode, you don't need to put foot down so much and get into top gear at lower RPM.
I'm getting an extra 30bhp. Place that fitted mine is a car performance centre, with rolling road etc and they wanted to do some before and after readings, said he could get it higher but recommended not to. He also said he could reduce it if I wanted. I've found the extra power great for normal driving and towing which is great.

Check out your local distributer/fitters and ask how much, they might have one at the old price??????
