Do they need clips on them as a rule ?

hmm just did my injectors and there seems to be a bit of wetness around no 2 and no 4

used new top and bottom washers, tightened them as tight as i could with 2ft breaker bar, fitted new spill pipes but think maybe the lack of pipe clips might cause a weep ?

Who did you get to refurb the injectors in the end? Has it cured the odd running ?

Not sure of the actual tighning torque required but all the ones ive removed have been fairly loose.Would investigate that leak make sure its only coming from leak off pipe otherwise its not good news

Potteries diesel in stoke

and erm no :p, got maf coming tommoz, if its not that its the pump

its a labor of love tho, and when its finally fixed at least i know its all new and going to last :D

Also found a leak on my intercooler along where the tubes/vanes are soldered onto the shoulder/side part

Dunno if they will recore this tho in town as most of them are plastic shouldered aren't they so this would be a proper solder job

Just had a look at this when i got back from work, no 4 was fine, but no 2 not so :doh

I managed to bend the leak-off tube when i tightened no2 injector back up, so it had a small crack at base (leak-off tube) and a fooking leak

Got a secondhand injector off ebay for £19 but can i strip it down easily and just replace the top part on my serviced injector ?

It has to be text done as it's a different injector.
