I've seen one from a reputable 4x4 shop for 800 Euros, so not expecting huge things from this.
Any experience?
Any recommendations?
It'd extend the camping season somewhat...

There’s a lot of reviews and fitting videos on YouTube. The feedback I’ve seen is pretty good too. The fuel pump tends to tick and can be loud of placed incorrectly. I don’t like the way the fuel line attaches to the plastic fuel tank provided. Personally I think they look good but think it might be better to run a feed from main vehicle fuel tank and place the pump maybe underneath the vehicle but protected from the elements.

What are you thinking of fitting it to if you don’t mind me asking?

A friend has one fitted to his R###e R###r :)nenau sorry for swearing) and tells me it is incredibly efficient, and very cheap to run.

He has a separate battery system for it, and can remotely fire it up to heat/defrost the car without starting it.

It is so efficient he is going to rig one up in his barn of a garage, with ducting to direct the heating strategically, and possibly use red diesel to reduce costs.....

Not connecting to anything as such, but running hoses into the tents to take the edge off the cold.

That’ll be interesting, i have thought about one for the truck for when I’m sleeping in it.

Ah right I see well my friend gets these all the time 350£ second hand but still work great he has one in his canpervan gets mega hot in no time I would defo say overkill for inside a 4x4 it would be on for about 2 seconds to warm one up [emoji23]

I have the 8kw version, worked straight out of the box, limited heat in my workshop but a tank runs for 11/2 days and takes the chill off.
If its for a camper or vehicle i have seen discussions that a 5kw is enough.
Also they make a version that heats water as well.
