Diesel engine specialists

I'm looking for a top notch diesel engine specialist to diagnose an engine fault on my Patrol (related to overboosting - see other thread on this).

I know about Diesel Bob's in Ribchester. Has anyone got any experience of them (good or bad) or of any other diesel engine specialist within reasonable travelling distance of Oldham - preferably that involved diagnosing a fault rather than just selling you some tuning product.

Dunno, I could go and look. Have you used them?

I've just come across one called Hi Tech Diesel Ltd in Bury - website looks good. They claim to fault find and have a rolling road, so they'd be able to replicate the fault without having to drive up & down the motorway.

Has anyone used Hi Tech Diesel ??

give these guys a tinkle. I havent USED them, but i have spoken to them before, very professional and prices seem reasonable for non commercial vehicles
