Any idea where I can get a tuning chip for the Maverick / Terrano 2.7 dti. Just been looking on the net and can't seem to locate one at mo.

Also when in 4 wheel drive (97 Maverick) is it normal for the steering lock to be reduced, it seems to drag a bit on full lock,

Thanks, no not a wind up,just nor mal driving, if turning into a driveway for instance it feels like like you have put the brakes on, if you know what I mean !!

You shouldnt have it in 4wd on the road. "Wind Up" is where the transmission cant slip any so binds up the front. These trucks have to have some slip in 4wd so only use it off road or in slippy conditions:thumbs

if you use 4wd on the road you WILL brake it!!!!!

only on slippy stuff. not hard surface like roads carparks..

what type of diff it is at the front ? i thought it was just a normal diff so their was only drive to the wheel with the most drive like on disco's, if so would the system be fine or would it not be lol

its an open dif,

dificutly is theres no centre dif...

yep all are open.
back is a LSD
and no center Dif
