Diagnosis Turbo

Well we got the Turbo off and apart...

Its not looking good, what has happened is one of the fan blades has come apart 8O This has caused the turbo to eat its self... :lol: the outer casing has split as well! 8O
The companies who recon then will not take it exchange.. for obvious reasons... scrap is no good to them :lol:

So its a new turbo and i'm skint. Should be back on the road on Tuesday!

Is this a normal Nissan problem?

Hi Scooter,

Thanks for the link, I thought long and hard about this one, but figured Ill spend a bit more and get one with a gurantee. I'm driving to Czech in June and need it to be in tip top condition.

I guess it happens hey... :lol: :lol: :lol:
