I am planning a day out to view the heather in bloom .
I contacted ANDY (Cameraman ) for the best month to view.
below his his reply.

Heather blooms September October, generally after summer. I tend to avoid summer routes as they can very overgrown and scractchy. Also people tend to be out with families walking and so on. Always found Autmn best

MAYBE AN EVENING DRIVE AS WELL (TEST YOUR ROOF LIGHTS OUT )
WATCH THE SUN GO DOWN FROM HOUNDKIRK MOORE
