sounds like you have reconnected a vac pipe incorrectly somewhere, I do not have a diesel so cannot look to tell, but some body will be along to give you pointers I am sure, Rick

I've had this a few times and don't think it's a vac pipe. It's probably your throttle position sensor that needs a good clean:D

were is the throttle position sensor as my trol is a bit slow dropping revs

thanks larson

It's actually at the top of the throttle body:thumbs
Look up where your right foot goes , bingo:cool:
Undo it and contact cleaner is your friend:D

hello, the car when moving keeps revs high, around 900/1000, when car stops ecu drops revs to 750, slightly more if aircon on.
i had a dirty maf and the revs stayed at 900 all the time, quick clean and all normal, problem not returned, this was about 5 months ago.

worth a thought if other suggestions dont work.

steve
