dc-ac converter help

Hi guys

so i have this dc-ac converter under the passenger seat and a dvd player that fold down in the headlining, I'm guessing the two are meant to work together but theres no plug for the dvd and no wire either, I'm not bothered about the dvd player to be honest but could i use this with a kettle? cup of tea on the hills would be grand?

also how do you turn off the news reports/traffic just kicking in as i cannot see the writing on the radio screen to see what button would turn it off.

Not sure that inverters would run ketle

Hi, the inverter is only 150 watts, enough to charge computers, phones and small appliances, but NOT a kettle of any type.

The DVD plaver is probably wired for 12 volts, so some cable searching will be required, maybe check any 12 volt sockets, and their respective fuses.

Can't help re volume on radio.

look under bonnet for any extra fuses too


follow any wires from battery ... see where they go to.

in the back of my t2 i have a 100a battery connected to a 1500w inverter with a lead i can plug into my caravan mains input,so if i need mains fast i have it,i plug in a 900w mains kettle in t2 and put with enough water for my drinks and that serves me well.i just charge the battery from my cigar socket as when i start t2 its got no live only when running or in radio mode,so no reverse drain.
