I got a damp patch:p

On the 3 litre 54 plate the head lining around corner of windscreen area. It’s obviously been there for a while as previous owner has run a bead of black sealant down between screen and a post inner trim. I have noticed a dribble of water run down the bead of sealant but as I haven’t been driving it I forgot all about it. The outer screen rubber is not sat correctly in the top corner of the screen and further down side of screen there is some delamination too.

I’ve felt all around head lining but this is the only damp area.

I’m thinking it’s the screen not sealed correctly what’s everyone else think?

Jim, I'm in exactly the same boat as you mate, luckily I have my headlining out at the moment which recently allowed me to pinpoint and identify the source of my damp passengers footwell and seat.

It seems where my windscreen has been bonded to the body I have a few pinhole leaks allowing water to drip in when we get really heavy downpours.

I also get the occasional drip through the metal Skintop conduit that has my spotlight wiring running through it. I've already tightened it as much as I dare outside so I'm going to squirt some tigerseal into there from inside the truck, I'm happy with the wiring now and when all the leaks are sorted I can look at getting another black headlining back in there and start sorting the interior out. :thumb2

Get it sorted mate!!!! I'm just doing some eBay stuff whilst waiting for my brother to get his lazy ass out of bed and call me to tell me we're on with the Jimny
