I've done a search and looked in the manual. Seems like you could change the outer boot with the drive shaft still attached to the gearbox, which would save a lot of work. Anyone done this ?

Also I'd like to put new wheel bearings in it but they are bloody expensive from Milners, does anyone have the numbers to hand ?

Had mine done a couple of weeks ago. Drive shaft left in place just had to take off the hub and split the upper and lower ball joints. It was done for me as I dident have the time cost £53.

Checked with the nearest ATS yesterday, they wanted £100 plus as well. It's complicated apparently. Losers.
So I went home and did it myself.
I would have done it in well under 2 hours, but the bolts holding the top ball joint sheared off, and the bottom shock mount bolt wouldn't budge - I snapped the weld holding the captive nut on ! The bolt would not come out so I whacked it a few times, but the mount just bent, so I left the shock in and managed to get the cv joint separated with the drive shaft still on the car. Then the sun went down.
Got it finished this morning and it all seems ok, but I need to take it to bits again to make sure the bearing washer is the right way round, and to rebuild the auto hub. Again .
And it's stil pulling to the left ! AAAAAAAAAARRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
