Hi. Does anyone know if it is possible to fit cruise control to my 94 Maverick 2.7td and if so where can I get it. Nigel

not sure where but i beleive so when i was at last years rally at stourport there was a t2 there with cruiseontrol fitted as extra so i would say so for a maverick

Hello Tinny.
I don't know whether they are still obtainable but my T2 has a cruise control system ; it is an EQUUS Model 9000-B. I'm think that type would fit your Mav.
The previous owner had it fitted and when I bought the car it was still operational but I have "killed" it ; only because I don't like cruise control systems. I didn't go to the trouble of removing any components---just disconnected the vacuum pipe off the brake servo line and blanked off.
I did Google for info and downloaded all the details and a users manual but, as I said, cruise control ain't for me or the type of motoring I do so I have no experience of using it beyond a brief test.How good/bad the systems are I wouldn't know.
