Today I have found that my clutch creeks when I press the pedal down  I've tracked the noise down the clutch release arm I think :? On Saturday I was in & out of deep water so I think this has something to do with it, Yesterday the T2 did'nt move as I had a heater in the cab drying the seats. I tried to remove the bellhousing drain plug but as it's rubber it just snapped flush with the G/box   So I pulled back the clutch arm rubber seal & some water came out off the rear of the seal, I then tried siphoning out any water that may have been in the bellhousing but just got a mouth full of dust.
Does anyone know of some thing I could spray up onto the release arm to shut it up or do you think after a few miles it may go once any surface rust wears of if thats the prob :? :?: :?:

This sounds like the same noise i've been getting for a while now!!.
When i depress the clutch it sounds like a dry o ring!! :?

I had a noise on mine.
I removed the slave cylinder cleaned up the cup in the arm and end of push rod on the slave, put a blob of CV grease on and hey :!: :!: no noise.

Something else to check is the top mounting bolt of the pedal arm...if there is any undue sideways movement of the pedal arm the nut may be loose or as in my case completely missing...pedal was really creaky.....fitted a new bolt and creak aint as bad...still there a little but much better than before...

Thanks for the replies  I checked the pedal box 1st & touch wood all seems fine with that  I have clean up the slave cylinder & put some grease on where it meets the arm but the noise is still there

Well the other place where it could do with a bit of lube is where the arm rocks just inside the bell housing behind the rubber, bit fiddly to do though.

Get someone to press the clutch as your under the car to see if you can locate the noise better, or have you done this
