Crankshaft sensor?

looks the same as mine but it is on the timing case, but if you look on the Ford parts list the number is the same for both, so yes if you did not win it you lost a bargain assuming it was a good one, why do you think you need a sensor? Rick
 
Truck running rough. Stalling mil lit on constantly, at that money it would have been worth a punt to see if it improved it, done pretty much everything else to it

Had several codes and its one of them.

Have pretty corroded leads too and its a crap starter, so need to do them too.

Easter weekend perhaps.
 
the crank sensor is a coil of very fine wire around a ceramic magnet encapsulated in a solid plastic block, over time a wire breaks due to thermal expansion/contraction so you may find it starts ok but goes out once warm, no cure other than new sensor, Rick
