Iam looking for a Crankshaft sensor for a 1997/98 Terrano 2.7 TDI Any member can help ?????

Could be a member who ordered one and found out it was not the crankshaft sensor.

Crank sensor

I bought one S/H to eliminate the probs I have with my terrano, cost me £40 and has been tested as working, i have tried it and used it on mine. It came off a 98 TDi and is a Bosch. Yours for £40 + PP.

yup, take a pic of the connector, even though its a 98, it might not be right.

Especially as it's crossover year I think:eek:
Was easily mounted up front by thermostat hsg, then it got moved round the back:doh
Good luck:augie

Thanks, mine fits near the fan belt??

so its the wrong one for my car then??

Hi

Picking new crankshaft sensor up from nissan type that fits near water pump WILL IT COME WITH THE TWO WHITE CLIPS THAT STOP IT CATCHING ON THE FAN would think so for £188 +vat wife picking up. NOT SURE IF WE NEED TO BUY TWO MORE look like fixed to gray wire

HI Glen, just PM'd you but i have only just seen this post, in answer, no, they dont come with any clips at all mate for that price! I used some very small cable ties...and it was bloody awkward!

not cheap

yes not cheap hope it works or will be staying in a few week

White clip on the old one look fitted to gray wire will bring some tie wraps home from work.

Glen

I think I just prised out the old clips witha s crew driver and used the hole for my cable ties, looks tidy, just ensure you run the wire in exactly the same route, but i think you have already noticed how close it gets to the fan!

Thanks will pick some tie wraps up at work.

Glen
