So left to my own devises :naughty I went and bought a multimeter.

After nearly blowing myself up with it :augie rick suggested I should start by reading the ohms to the cps. So that's what I did.

When the engine was Luke warm I got a reading in the 900s range, Rick suggested it is usually in the 800 range and believes it should not fluctuate.

Rick then suggested I take it out and get it nice and hot. Threw up eml light on the run too as it would.. This time just 21 and not 95.. Anyway that's another story..

After parking back up I took a reading again and found this!

This would suggest a bad connection no? :nenau

Now rick being the awesome chap that he is, is kindly posting me a sensor to try.

Before I attempt to fit this sensor I will check the ohms on it (this will clarify my meter reads correctly, and ricks) (thanks rick) :thumb2

If the reading in ricks one is good, I will fit and then re test...

Bloody terra, right at Christmas too... Couldn't be poorer if I wanted :lol
