CRAG West Mids Meet

Anyone from this club interested in attending? Anyone that wants to come along to the West Mids CRAG monthly meeting is more than welcome. You dont have to be a member to come along.:thumb2

The meet is held at the Anchor Inn, Caunsall, nr Kidderminster.

We meet about 8pm on the 3rd Wednesday of each month so if you want to come to the next one its on the 15th April.

listen i traipse 160 miles each way every weekend just to see the wife, not to mention a round trip to Wigan next week to collect my eBay purchases; the miles are fine.....! actually, just in case (someone mentioned cider!) is there a travelodge or similar anywhere close by?

they do a really nice beef cob at the anchor too! a bit to much salad with it, but ok if you have a pet rabbit i suppose but very nice!

Havent had the beef yet but the cheese one I had was excellent with like oyu said a plateful of salad for £1.30

being a southern poofter with bloodlines from Wales, West of Ireland and the North East (Wallsend), I'm not familiar with this Midlands 'cob' delicacy...what the hell is it?

a midlands cob is not a large pony like the welsh one but a round bread bun? roll? usualy crusty with a nice bit of texture and a fair size, to help fill you up.

go for the beef it is delicious!
