Went up to the storage site today & found the front window has a crack at the side about an inch long:eek: I know i'll have to replace it & it's going to cost a few bodily organs:doh but we are planing to go away on Monday so need to do something now to stop it getting any worse. The crack runs from the outer edge towards the seal so was thinking of drilling a very small hole at the end of the crack to try & stop it spreading further over the seal area & into the double glazing part but I would like to try & glue the crack together but not sure what to use:nenau A local dealer said super glue & someone else has said to use creeping crack sealer, I will cover the crack & little hole with a thin coat of clear silicone anyway to try & waterproof it a bit

Got some epoxy resin but scared in case it just melted the window:doh it's going to be some time before we have the funds for a new window so wanting to do a nice tidy repair until then

to be honest it is completely insignificant, enjoy your holiday and stop worrying about it, yes drill your hole at the end of the crack to stop it spreading but it is really not a big issue, Rick

don't use superglue, as it will leave a white misty film around the glued area. Hole to stop the crack spreading and clear epoxy or silicone should be fine, I think...

I see his stresses Rick and agree he should drill it at the end to stop it creeping along anymore

But as Rick said, forget about it then and enjoy the holiday :thumbs

Avoid creeping crack cure, it is designed to fill cracks that don't move side to side...
That Plast aid from Amazon, on another thread might sort it... But being acrylic, could bond really well, but won't look that good.

Cheers guy's :thumb2 luckily where the crack is it's mainly silver so any cloudiness shouldn't show up much at all
