corrosion in rear tub

well previously heard a wooshing sound on wet roads, bit like window down but isnt.

had its test last month and barring some bushes flew thru it. noticed under where
middle row seats leve releases theres some damp carpet and feels like fragille/rusty
metal underneath. from outside can see gash? in body but above frame/chassis so
what is ruling as there is rear seat mount quite close, little dissapointed tester
didnt find it but as said is obsured by chassis a it arches over rear axle.

my truck was rotten there, i removed carpet and seat belt pulled straight out, and further across there was a hole so i cut it out with air chisel, and gained access to clutch damper pipe, and brake pipes that go to lsv, when i finishen work on the old girl i just cut a plate and sealed with mastic then screwed down, so any later work will be easier, just remove plate and it passed mot. :thumbs :clap
