Went to Conwy on the 12 th August as it was our 33 rd wedding anniversary - pushed the boat out a bit and stayed in the Conwy Castle Hotel for a couple of nights as we are not going abroad this year and have opted for UK breaks instead.
Great weekend and the Terrano R3mR Auto did us proud. Recently had all rear suspension bushes replaced. Polybushes on the top short axle links on both sides and genuine Nissan Metalastic bushes on the long arms on both sides.
Did not use polybushes all round to keep the ride and noise levels reasonable. Gas filled dampers to rear suspension though to be honest the old dampers were still pretty good but now noticabley firmer at the rear end. As the original bushes have lasted 15 years this rebuild should outlast the remaining vehicle life!
Truck ran like a dream and managed 24.7 mpg (220 miles) overall going there was steady 2,100 rpm in o/d top the drive home was more urgent around 2,700 rpm in o/d top. Now has 132,000 km on clock thats around 82,000 in miles. Its going to be a hard act to follow when we need to replace her.
