Hi All,
Did a search on here regarding water leaks, as my wife says when she gets in the car the windscreen is covered in condensation. The sunroof drains at the front are clear and drain as they should. I'm thinking seal around glass knackered? But if it the seal why doesn't the water go down drain holes:nenau

Has anyone renewed this seal is it available, if so is it a pig to fit. I haven't yet looked at the windscreen seal which could be a problem area I suppose.Colin

i would try replacing the pollen filter it mite be damp with all this wet weather around after i ran a load of deep puddles n flooded roads our window was doing the same, i took ours out dired it out over night on the radiator blasted it with the air line now no more condensation, mite be worth a go/look.

If you can't find wet carpets, then check the recirculation lever, sometimes they come adrift, so damp air recirculates, rather than taking in outside air.

If the passenger side front carpet is wet, then this could be the screws on the metal plate, under the outside plastic scuttle plate that the windscreen wipers go through.

This plate, accessible once the scuttle plate is removed, has 4 screws, and it is the lower left screw that leaks. Water drips from this screw straight through onto the nearside carpet.:thumb2

If the water in the carpet has antifreeze in it, then it could be the interior heater matrix...:doh:doh

hope this helps,
Rustic

Also check your sill drain slots. All the condensation off the inside of the body panels, also run down into the sill.

and while you are at it, get a damp remover. Any old one will do, just something to soak up the moisture in the air - cat litter will do. I had this issue but I DID have damp inside, the moisture trap has helped loads and it hasn't had condensation now for a week or so...

I was getting this, and found it was the cover under the wipers, resealed it and no more problems
