Right I have later t2 2002 with the renault back axel with abs and my LSD isn't performing great even after 3 oil swaps

I've got a good earlier axel with the stronger lsd from a 98 plate non abs

My question is can I convert the early axel to take abs or am I gonna have to do away with it which I don't really wanna do as I run full mud tyres all the time and alot of road work and abs has been handy in a few occasions

no you cannot convert it and you cannot do away with your abs either mot fail if it is not there, I have two rear axles on 98 both with abs if you are interested, Rick

never saw a petrol late enough to have abs, Rick
That would have been the dream, I'll be doing this mod too soon :) but Craigs looking at fitting fitting a set of Petrol diffs to his I think, supposed to be better on the bigger wheels because of the ratio?

What do you know about this?

I supplied a couple of petrol diffs to someone on here, cannot remember who but they were just the diffs, no axle etc so abs irrelevant, if he has it then he keeps it, if he hasn't then he hasn't, Rick

Good call on the petrol diffs. We've got a workshop now so the old Black pearl will; get them soon and a front lokka :sly
No Gay B S on mine lol

The Black Pearl doesn't have a LOKKA

I was going to sell the old girl years ago and so didn't bother buying one. Since then it's been virtually rebuilt. Seems daft now not to do one :lol
So in the next month or so it's up on the ramp and boom the work begins..........................................again

Good man, now I'm all moved in at my new place pretty much I'm going to get cracking on my Steering Box that I got cheap cheap and hopefully the jobs will continue :sly

I'd love to do the Petrol axle swap :sly

Need to see if I can find a Petrol that had ABS first :doh or find a way of disabling it
