collant temperature sensor

hi guys

thinking of replacing my coolant temperature sensor.
there is 2 side by side at the top front of the engine. its the one closest to the bulkhead I think might be faulty.
it is a sort of green/blue colour but my local motor factors don't have them.
Any help?
theres loads of differnet color ones on ebay for terranos but does it matter which one I get?

Also I was recommended red coolant as opposed to green coolant for my truck.
which is best. its a 55 plate 2.7.

Try cleaning the contacts first steel wire or the like, & make sure the connection is a good fit gently squeeze with pliers if needed.
