can anyone tell me what type of code reader i need for the t2, i can find 16 pin connecter, but not 14 pin, :thumbs

You might find the following link useful as a starting point....

seems as though Nissan were preparing for OBD compliance so fitted a 16 pin rather than 14 pin connector, however the wiring is NOT OBD compliant but for the Consult unit (pins 12 & 13 for RX & TX data)

I may be making a unit to read data from this port in the future as I have recently purchased a 2002 ZD30 SVE...

They use an OBDII style connector but run Nissan consult I protocol. So the local guys make an adaptor to go from the "normal" Nissan consult connector (that comes on our cables) to the OBDII style connector. They don't run normal consult protocol either, so you need to run NIStune software to talk to them

thanks guy's, i think i will stick to the flashing code, cant afford the code reader now, just ordered a new injector :doh
