co-incidence?

hi, my o/s main beam has gone today, as has my n/s sidelight , high/full beam unnaffected. b4 i spend money on bulbs(i intend to upgrade bulbs when they do go pop), i was wondering if this could be another fault or pure coincidence they have both gone on the same day? thanks for looking :thumb2

Check your plastic plug things. They often get hot n bothered.Take it off and clean and refit :thumbs

Plugs on the back of the bulbs he is referring to, they often burn out, Rick

thanks, i will have a look, its an 03 plate. just weird they were fine yesterday, wondered if there was some kind of mutual fuse? thanks guys

seems to be just a coincidence! bulbs changed for a whiter variant so hopefully brighter too!
