I am meeting with a member or two this weekend for some greenlaning fun.
I was asked if I wanted to lead a separate group (only of 2 maybe 3 trucks)
at least 2 trucks are being disappointed this weekend as I cant drive and navigate at the same time or it would be a very long day.

as I am a miserable person by nature I can understand people not wanting to spend a long time with me:D

If I had some one who could read a map and put up with my jack dee like nature!.
then I would be happy sharing navigating and driving and getting out of trouble together.

all I know is.

my truck is going to get very dirty and probably broke this weekend:D

fgot to mention it was in the peak district area.
anyone want a free day out?:nenau

my sat nav is CRAP.
if I put one destination in it starts to smoke:confused:
to plot a course using different plot points would be amazing:nenau
a dot to dot of route planning:D

I have around 15 local'ish lanes stored in my old Tomtom 1, as I get to the end of the lane I just set it to find the next one, make it nice & easy if you plan to do them again

good shout.I will take mine and add all the lanes as favorites:thumb2

I used to put all the start of the lanes in the sat nav before I got memory map.
What sat nav are you using?
I have got a garmin nuvi and I can save from google maps and send it to my garmin.
It's just knowing which lane you want to head for next so I used numbers rather than names.
No one will be missing out on Sunday as the guy with the jimny has dropped out so there will be a tricked up paj taking his place.been out with him before around the peaks.very nice motor.
Looking forward to the day out.might have to miss out minninglow lane as it gets badly damaged when really wet.its the only lane I have ever got stuck on.drove it in similar conditions and ended up sinking and grounding out.a trusty disco pulled me out:eek:

Have a good one lads :thumbs

Steve bud, if you were closer I would totally co-drive/navigate for you :D
