The clutch withdrawal lever has come away on my T2 look like the holder or retainer spring has come off letting the lever fall and get jamed by the pin-ball. Do not mind having a go at it my self but would like some info on how big a job is it, plus some pictures or web site with info. Have had some parts priced up from Nissan clutch kit £134.36, lever £41.19, spring £1.93, and pin-ball £7.64

i can can say from experience that it is quite a big job.you have to remove the torsion bars for the front suspension so you can take out the cross member, starter motor has to come off, front and rear prop shafts, centre console so you can access the gear levers.(thats the easy part)the two uppermost bolts on the gearbox are the hardest to do.long extensions with a flexi joint on the socket will do it but its a pig of a job.then the removal of the gear box has a knack to it as you have to twist it so the starter motor housing clears the bulkhead.took me a few days to do my clutch but now its developed a noise on the release bearing so it looks like i might have to do it all again  can't wait.

Thanks for the reply elty001 and the info, phoned a garage in notts called mr clutch qouted me £330 to do the job plus new clutch.I have fitted a new starter motor before and that was a bit of a pig of a job on the T2. Sorry to here about the noise on the release bearing, has i did read your post about your clutch.
