Hi guys my clutch has the the usual problem of not returning all the way

I was thinking can I remove the junction box thing ? I'm going to remove the damper anyway but wondered if I can get a braided hose made up that connects to the hard pipe from the clutch master cylinder ?

I think pirtek can make one but just wondered if anyone else has done the same thing and if it will work I presume nissan put the box there for a reason ?

What sort of connection is at the bottom of the hard clutch master cylinder pipe ?

I know the clutch slave cylinder is a banjo type just need to know what the other end is befor I remove it

yes you can get rid but it will not help you pedal problem, this will be a worn plastic bush in the pin that connects to the master cylinder push rod, Rick

Cool thanks for the info guys I'm off to pirtek Monday then methinks to get one made up

Il take the slave cylinder with me for the correct size banjo

Does the master cylinder pipe fit into the junction box or another pipe first ?

Hi rick the truck has had a new master cylinder fitted is there anything else I can do to sort out the pedal not returning ?

The pedal feels really weird, when I put my foot down say an inch once the pedal is all the way up there is nothing then the pedal starts to engage but feels a little notchy ?

new master cylinder will not have included the plastic bush in the pedal, that little bit of slack stops the spring on the top pushing the pedal to the top, Rick

Where can I get a replacement bush from??

I just sent you a pm rick about the damper pipe being blocked with a ball bearing ?
