Hi, hope everyone had a good Christmas and new year. Since I have had the Maverick it has had the usual issue of the clutch pedal not fully returning, just tapping it up for the last inch or so. I thought it probably needs bleeding so ill do it when the weather warms up. A few days ago the better half went out in her and said that it was now really hard to get in gear. Went out today and bled the system but no change, still hard to get in gear, no air in it, damper pipe has a bit of surface rust but no leaks, not loosing any fluid, slave cylinder looks okay and no obvious ballooning of the flexi. Any ideas?

Cheers

you checked the damper pipe all the way to the back>?

Have you bled it in both places?

could be the spring though or the little plastic spacer people replace with metal ones, I forget its proper name - can you see on the clutch pedal for any broken bits of plastic?

Hi, yes checked the full length of the damper and bled until all running clear in all three places. I will gave another look at the pedal, couldn't see anything broken

ok, could well be the spring and spacer that's need looking at I forget the name but there are a couple of threads about it, a search may reveal what I am on about!:thumbs
