Has any one had problems with their Clutch Pedal sticking in the down position. It returns up if i hook my foot under the pedal and lift it, then works ok for a while. I had a look under the dash and there seems to be some sort of ram or cylinder and looks like it might be expensive to fix. any idears

i am sure this has been mentioned before, and the method of fixing, hold tight some one who knows what they are talking abut is bound to answer soon!

In the mean time you could try searching the old posts and threads

I had this problem a while ago, in my case it was the problem mentioned in one of the threads linked above - the pipe going to the clutch damper at the rear had corroded. After a bit of research I decided I didn't really need this damper thing, so I just cut and sealed the pipe before the leak.

The wife had this problem on her terrano and it was a small hole in the flexible pipe to the clutch slave cylinder

could be 1 of a few things.

seal inside turned itself round and is vacuming instead of pushing, return spring on the pedal nakered, or the leak that is descibed above,
wont be expensive too fix if it is any of the above.

Thanks for the info will investigate further this weekend TTFN
