I've got the usual problem with the pedal not returning back up. She's been losing clutch fluid for about a year but now it's got to the stage where I really need to sort something. I've been underneath and checked the flexi hose whilst someone presses the clutch pedal and the hose doesn't expand.

So theres a little dampness around the shaft of the slave cylinder and a little around the flexi hose but all the metal pipes inlculding the damper seem fine. So I'm guessing that the hose and slave cylinder require replacing. Milner do the cylinder for £13.20 but all the ones on ebay tend to be £39 and my local Andrew Pages want £45 + VAT. Are there different types? just don't want to order the incorrect cylinder.

Has anyone else solved the pedal issue with these parts and does anyone know about different cylinders?

the ones on ebay look the same as the ones on milners too me

Whilst I'm at it should I block the damper off at the same time? if so what do I use, will a bolt do and should it need a seal of some kind?

Can't find the download:nenau

My thoughts are that although damper not leaking since I've got to undo it to replace the hose I might as well dump the damper and then it's done.

you could get an auto box jim and get rid of the prob completely :naughty
