Hi guys, here's a bit of advice that might save someone an engine rebuild:augie
We went mud plugging at the weekend as you may have seen. The huge amount of muddy water goes into the radiator core and bungs things up, obviously.
BUT if you dont clean it out after play time you will bake that mud
Then things get hotter and it gets baked some more etc. until one notices the temp gauge at an unusually jaunty angle:augie
So I cleaned mine today:lol

Any grannys out there, please carry on sucking your eggs:cool:

good tip

been there mate

great tip and essential job after play time

and your in the middle of nowhere and no hose pipe , solution, use one of those 9.5 litre fire extinguishers you part fill with water and then add compressed air till needle is in green zone,if you carry a comp in truck you simply refill out of stream recharge air and off you go again!! how many grannys have thought of that then.
