OK so thought I would start a new tread on this as have had some interest, we live in Bexhill on the south coast near Hastings and have room for several tin tents facilities are small but cheap so if you are interested please PM me, Rick

Yep. Solarman Rik is in a prime location. Easy to access with a 'van and not far from the coast. Lovely surrounding area with an abundance of shops. Happy wife, happy life. ;)

Bit cold for camping. Not got a tin tent or even a towbar:(
Otherwise we would love to come.
My tent is mahooosive.
Just thinking about a small over nighter size tent.

we do have a 37 ft mobile on site, Briggie will testify, and we can accommodate a very large tent or even bigger, Rick

Now, on the Norfolk Broads, where we visit a lot, there is a broad called Salhouse Broad, and they rent out "Camping Pods" for campers without a tent.

Now, Rick, you have the facilities to knock a few of those up...:thumb2

Rustic I am surprised that you even mentioned that, a big dog kennel for two people, do not think so, sorry mate well off course there, Rick

Yeah ricks site is massive, sure I had a pic lying about somewhere but hey ho.

I couldn't believe what I saw on that web site, is there a market for these pods?
Seems they have to book them up. Well it is Norfolk after all...:lol

However on our local Cannock Chase, the "dog kennels" usually have 4 wheels, with steamed up windows and an interior light on...:naughty

errrmmm so I'm told...:augie
:lol:lol

What's the plan then rick?
Is there a particular weekend your thinking of for us members?

The only holiday I have had all year is my 2 days off roading in Wales.

Need a break.

What!! Too cold for camping no such thing is there? Often woke up with frost on the tent. Nice warm sleeping bags and hot drinks no problem.

You'd be better off buying a couple of old caravans. At least you could move them about.

Can you be classed as a camper, without a tent?
Yes these pods are becoming popular. Deer's Glade is another good campsite which has these.
£50 per night though :eek
