cheap fuel filter heater

i found this on another forum http://mercedes-190.co.uk/topic/224892/1/ seems like a good idea so i mite be modifying it for the terra when i start putting wvo/svo in the tank has any one else done something similar or do i rearly not need to bother ?

you honestly don't need to bother unless you are using very high ratios in winter. even then, heating the filter is pointless if you've got a svo/diesel mix waiting to squirt into the cylinders because it makes starting difficult.

Most users on here haven't bothered, partly because once the SVO dissolved in the diesel the waxing potential is significantly reduced anyway.

Unless anyone has experimented and proven otherwise (a quid says Rustic or Plank will now LOL!) I don't believe that the SVO settles out once its mixed.

whatever you put in the tank, it'll be gone so quick it won't matter anyway. I ran mine on 10% citronella oil for a week.
