well after reading recent threads i decided it was time to change the pollen filter on my pathy 06reg r51
ordered genuine filters of ebay BNIB great fast next day recorded delivery for £25
then go to passenger glove box open it and remove ur crap lol
push in the soft sides of the draw to cause the stops to release and the draw will drop forwards there is a cord that will need releasing fiddlie with big hands
u will then see the flap that u need to remove to the back left side use a 8mm socket or spanner to remove the bolt
then lift upward to release two locating clips
once removed u will see the first of two filters to remove
pull this straight out
the second one is positoned to the left so will need pushing to right then pull out straight
this is the state mine was in not change since having the car 3 yrs now
side by side with new one
u can now replace with new filters but remember flow arrows on side and first one in has to be positioned to left to allow second one to fit
replace flap to location pins first then bolt then cord to replace and push sides of draw to allow stops to relocate and the job is done
hope this helps anyone looking at doing this job only 20 mins
think it might be same on D40 navara
