Hi folks,
Sorry to ressurect this subject in another thread, but the one started by Jonela, didn't quite take off like I hoped it may.
I have exported my nice shiney 2002 3.0lt T2 to France, where I have to change the headlamp units to LHD.
I can get to all of the fitting bolts, except the one at the very bottom of the Hella units I have to remove/refit.
How do I get to these last two screws?
Do I have to remove the bottom apron under the bumper.....It seems reluctant to come away, and I am wary of putting too much pressure and trashing it, but if this is the way forward (not trashing it that is, taking it off!) does anyone have any tips, hints or wrinkles that I would be very grateful to know....................

kind regards

Hi Zippy,

I hope I have attached correctly a picture of the lower part of the front lamp assembly and the top of the bumber. The bolt in question lies behind this gap.
It is impossible to access it without removing something............but what and how.........sorry to be a pain!
Kind regards

You need to remove the bumper to get to those.Very easy job on yours 4 bolts under wheel arch then pulls off .There is also a bolt on the outer edge of the headlight im not sure if you can see those with bumper on.

cncfabs,
Thank you, I did see these, and yes very accessible, I will investigate that when I get back. The outer bolts are accessible, behind the indicator assembly which comes away easily, just a bit offset, but not out of the question, thats great help, thank you....

I will take a set of pictures of the task, and attach them up to a post, when the job is underway, just as a useful thing for the site.

Kind regards
