Hi All,
I'm going to change glowplugs when they arrive, just wondered if there are any Tips and Tricks to help.
As with a lot of screwy in type things they tend to seize up over time, are there any pitfalls? should I douse liberally with WD40?
Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hello Rick1956

Its not a bad job to do and shouldn’t cause you a lot of bother, they normally come out ok, but if you find a tight one, then once you start it moving dowse it in wd40 and work it in and out gradually. When fitting the new ones lightly oil the threads and do not over tighten them.
You may have a problem with the plastic flat screw headed nuts that hold the buzz bar on, these are often hard to remove without braking, if you encounter problems with them, then a pair of vice grips will undo them ok and they can either be replaced with new from Nissan or you can use the nuts that normally come with the new plugs to replace them that are perfectly adequate.
