Cetane improver

Of those of us who use SVO does anyone use a cetane improver. I've just got some off fleaby and wondered if there was noticeable improvements at startup time in the colder weather. David.

i dont, but would like to know

i mix with diesel when cold. like now 40lts oil to 20 lts diesel

I'm starting to put some in tomorrow, and as its getting colder I will monitor for white smoke and lumpy tick over for the first 30 secs.
Just been sent the hazard sheet for it, evil stuff. David.

Just chuck a few quids worth of petrol in it :sly I've been using stale outboard petrol/oil mix :thumbs
