central locking totally dead

Hi folks.

I have a t2 tdi 1999 (first half of 1999) 2.7 auto

My central locking worked without any issues, till a few weeks ago I could not get in using the fob. Using the key in drivers door unlocks and locks all doors fine. And using the button to open and close all doors from inside the drivers door works fine. I tried changing the battery in the fob and it didn't help, I also tried the programming of the fob as shown from download section, nothing happened, no hazard flash or anything. I have used that method in the past in other t2 trucks

Have also checked the fuse, no idea what the problem is


Anyone have any ideas please? Getting annoyed having to go to driver door to unlock all the doors when I just need the boot, etc.

Thank you for reply. I rebuilt the fob not to long ago, and had to reprogram the fob after doing it, looming at the fob, everything is still in perfect visual order.


Would it have anything to do with the superlock unit under the drivers foot well? If it's faulty maybe?
