choosing a radio is a personal thing , but i reccomend never to buy a used radio as far too many " screwdriver " experts have probably opened it up and had a fiddle inside .
a good cheap easy to use radio is the tti 660 , it is a multistandard cb radio , and will work in the uk as well as most european countries .
most cb radios have a power switch which changes the output power from high ( 4 watts ) to low ( 0.4 watts )
the link below looks complicated , but its a very easy to use radio ,as well as small , this is the type of radio you should contemplate on buying ... this is my own personal view .
