I cleaned me car today after me pay and play day yesterday:eek:
However it still feels pretty grubby and damp inside.
I cleaned all the plastic and leather but the carpets are wet and full of mud:D
Im thinking its easier to keep clean and dry if I rip em out:D
Do I have to remove the seats and stuff? or can I just cut and pull?is there any wires underneath? and lastly will it make it noiser and more difficult to warm?
cheers lads:clap

Never took one out but you will get more road noise & it will be a bit cooler inside the truck on cold days. I notice a big difference in road noise if I have the load cover folded back but once folded flat over the boot it's much quieter

binned the boot cover binned the boot side panels.
its not just the mud on the rugs. its the stinky water I go through and the condensation problems until dry.
I guess I will have to do a list of pros and cons. but one things for sure.
I use it and abuse it.and it will never be "a car" again:D

Bin the carpets , no wires to worry about, they're all in conduit stuff :thumbs
Top tip, put some sort of sand and paint mix on the floor under the peddles. Saves slippy feet missing the peddle you wanted

Some good truck bed liner paint would do the job nicely:thumb2

Even halfrauds now sell the stuff:eek: there is spray on or paint/roller on & the good stuff has small bits of rubber in it to give a none slip finish
Ok Congrats on the 1K posts Steve:D

I have a set of Nissan carpet over mats for the summer and a set of Nissan rubber mats for the winter...I know, I'm a tart and gay but with clean, dry carpets :lol:lol

I don't think loose mats of any type are a good idea under the peddles, let alone wet and muddy ones
Leave it out :thumb2
yes mate after driving it without any rugs in I don't think it needs anything apart from some grippy paint.
and it seems warmer not colder inside. but then it would after getting rid of all the water.
it is more noisey but that's not a problem
