where do i order one of those caravan thingys?
oh and a boat to go on my roof? :augie:augie:augie

I was over there a few weeks ago, loads of those setups knocking about. You can hire them.
I was in a campervan which was a bit less adventurous, but fantastic trip all the same.
Saw one 4x4 that had a military looking trailer tent. Had a special frame that swung the boat up and top of the trailer.

i noticed they had no problems of MTB'ers or ramblers tellin em to get off their tracks lol

so ok, who has a mobile caravan?
i was thinking about getting one later on in the year when funds have accumulated and i have talk the missus around lol
are there any pitfalls to owning a caravan?

We have 3 caravans and wouldn't be without one, i can't see any real pitfalls. I must admit it's better if you've got somehwere to keep it thogh and don't have to fork out for storage.

my old Buccaneer is doing pretty well, 32 years old :augie

but you wouldn't want to tow it across the outback, it would play havoc with the cut glass and china :lol

and at 2.6 tons it would give the toyotas clutch dome stich over those bumps :thumb2

im dreading going down to the static caravan in norfolk in march .... fills me with dread thinking what could have happened with the recent temps even tho the services have been disconnected ..... they get connected in march

Lets not start competing organisations here :thumb2

The legion, HfH, SSAFA and newer groups like snowdrops all work together for a common aim.

Snowdrops actually hit on one of my pet hates. That is how the forces often bin you once theyre finished with you. I wont bore you with examples but Ive seen several awful examples.

Good luck with the scheme snowdrop :thumb2
