Should it have more in?

clutch fluid filler/reservoir. is there not fill markings on the side?

Ah Thanks! Looks a little low, way below the Min marker

becase you use DOT 4 break fluid for the clutch :), mine has the break fluid filler on the servo and the clutch filler in the same location as yours

You need to see where the fluid has gone, it does attack paint work, so not good to have lurking around for too long.

and break shoes if it's the rear cylinders leaking....had to rebuild my breaks from that:doh

Yep get it topped up quick, I'll bet your clutch pedal feels funny or even not returning properly.

Look under the car and see the clutch slave cylinder, then the flexi hose that connects to the cylinder. There is also a metal pipe called a damper pipe, this goes from the flexi hose to the rear of the car above the rear axle and has a bleed screw above the axle too.

Get a helper to press the clutch pedal whilst you are watching the flexi hose, this can leak too but remain almost dry to look at.

Ok thanks, I'll top it up and keep my eye on it. What fluid do I put in again?
Hopes its not dropping from the bell end.

Dot 4, and all the hydraulics are external, if it is the damper pipe just cap it off with a blank plug or ball bearing not small enough to go into the pipe, Rick

Yes the pedal did not return properly, I had to lift it back on the underside of the pedal with my toes. Thats what got me looking at fluid levels but I couldn't tell which was which. The bottle in the pic was the only one not full. Strangely the pedal righted itself, but it does 'feel' different.

Thanks for that Rick I'll pick some up in the morn.

there is a bleed nipple on the master cyl, open this and it bleeds itself, Rick
