Can Anyone Workout Where This Is

On my last mot there was an advisory "offside inner body sill seat belt anchorage is corroded but not considered excessive"?

Want to get my old motor upto scratch and do some long term repairs on it so that I can keep it for another few years without having to weld every mot.

Hmmm, inner sill could be the back row one on your LWB
the only other "inner sill" point for seat belt mount is the front ones, but how an MOT inspection could possibly see that one to test is beyond me :nenau

this will be the B post sill (post level with back of drivers seat) Rick

the seat belt reel is low in the B post so sill corrosion under it will be within the prescribed 300 mm I guess, Rick

Only other place I can think of is inside the rear wheel arch where the seat belt bolt go's through

Ahh yeah good point rick, think that'll be it. I'll try and wriggle under the car at the weekend.

Most likely then yes. Just been doing that very area on mine Crappy description though innit :augie

yes crappy description but I worked it out on the negative method could not be middle row as in wheel arch, and rear is just not near enough to the sill, (I think but not measured it) Rick
